GORUCK Packing Cube First Look and Review

I purchased 2 GORUCK 10L Packing cubes to help organize items in my GR3.

They are made of a much thinner material than the rucks.  It is nice because they can smashed down and stored taking up very little room.  The material works well and forms to what you put in it, which is nice when packing it full.  We will have to see how well it wears over time.  Regardless it is covered by the GORUCK Lifetime warranty, so even if there is an issue SCARS will take care of you.

There are 2 handles on the top, one on each side of the zipper.  They are nice for carrying the Cube around.

The zippers unzip on 3 sides and opens it up to lay flat.

The zippers are smaller than I am use to seeing from GORUCK, but they are still YKK.  The zipper pulls are also very different.

When folded open both sides are covered in mesh.

The zipper pulls and zippers are even smaller on the inside.  One side is red and the other is gray.

The zippers work well on the inside, but they can get caught on the material inside the pouch.

The Packing cubes hold a good bit and helps compress it in.  I was able to fit 2 pairs of jeans in one side and 8 size L shirts on the other side.

I was also able to fit a pair of size 12 running shoes into one side, but they were very snug.

Two 10L fit perfectly in my GR3.  This is exactly what I was looking for.  I still have lots of room for other items.

I will add more once I have a chance to put them through their paces.
